Project background
As one of two product designers, I helped develop a software development kit (SDK) for Ecolytiq, integrating sustainability metrics into banking apps. After a kickoff workshop, we gathered user insights to understand motivations for engaging with eco-friendly banking.
Following research and analysis of Ecolytiq's existing solution, we designed an initial flow, iterating through three rounds of RITE testing. We tailored user journeys for the UK, Spain, and Poland, accounting for cultural differences such as preferred diet and rural transport accessibility.
The final SDK included guidelines on colour contrast, graphic implementation, data prioritisation, and grid systems. Ecolytiq is now rolling out the enhanced SDK to banks and has won industry awards for its impact on sustainable finance.
